Whether you’re a seasoned paddler or a casual explorer, this adventure promises breathtaking views, serene waters, and memorable stops along the way.
Kayaking Itinerary and Highlights
Meeting Point: Mistra Bay car park
Meeting Time: 8:30 AM
Launch Time: 9:00 AM sharp
Estimated Return Time: 2:30pm
Our planned route spans approximately 12 km, taking us through some of the most picturesque spots along the coast before returning to Mistra.
Here’s what’s in store:
Imgiebah Bay (Selmun Beach): Our first stop after leaving Mistra is this secluded gem known for its clear waters and peaceful atmosphere. Perfect for a quick swim for those brave paddlers, some photos, and a snack.
Slugs Bay: A tiny, tranquil bay that offers an excellent spot to rest and enjoy the natural beauty of Malta’s coastline.
Saint Paul’s Islands: Rich in history and natural beauty, this iconic location is perfect for exploration, photography, and relaxation. Recently featured here, from our friends at GuideMeMalta.

Each stop is an opportunity to rest, refuel, take photos, and even dive into the crystal-clear waters. Bring your snorkeling gear if you’d like to explore underwater!
Important Details
Kayak Owners: This event is free for you! Just bring your kayak and all the gear you need.
Kayak Renters: If you don’t own a kayak, that's ok, you can rent one from us. Advance booking is required, so please contact us as soon as possible to secure your spot.
Estimated Duration: The trip will take approximately 5 hours, including rest stops.
Cost: 60 Eur per paddler
What to Bring:
Kayak and paddles (for kayak owners, for renters, G.O.A.K. will provide)
Personal flotation device (PFD) (for kayak owners, for renters, G.O.A.K. will provide)
Food and drinks for the day
Sun protection (hat, sunscreen, sunglasses)
Waterproof bag for valuables
Snorkeling gear (optional but recommended)
Towel and change of clothes
Safety First
This kayaking adventure is suitable for individuals with basic to intermediate kayaking experience. Participants must be comfortable on the water and physically prepared for a 12 km paddle. It is recommended that you are physically active and fit or have prior experience paddling over 10 km before agreeing to partake in this adventure. Our team will be available to guide and assist throughout the trip.
About Us
We are licensed, certified, and insured Paddle UK sea kayak guides who operate year-round, weather permitting. Pre-booking is always required, and we highly recommend booking well in advance to avoid disappointment.
