Starting and ending at Manoel Island, this kayaking adventure offers a perfect mix of history, natural beauty, and serene waters. Join us for an unforgettable experience!
Itinerary and Highlights
Meeting Point: Manoel Island car park
Meeting Time: 8:30 AM
Launch Time: 9:00 AM sharp
Estimated Return Time: 2:30pm
Our exciting route spans approximately 12 km, taking us through Malta’s historic waterways and scenic coastlines before returning to Manoel Island. Here’s what’s planned:
Valletta Breakwater: Paddle across to the majestic Valletta, marveling at the towering bastions and fortifications as we pass through the historic breakwater.
Ricasoli Breakwater or Rinella Beach: A perfect spot to rest, enjoy a snack, and capture stunning photos. Depending on the conditions, we’ll stop at either the breakwater or the picturesque Rinella Beach.
Three Cities Tour: Explore the rich history and charm of Cospicua, Senglea, and Vittoriosa from the water. These iconic cities offer a glimpse into Malta’s vibrant past and are a highlight of this adventure.
Lella paddling under the bridge near AUM Each stop provides an opportunity to rest, take photos, and soak in the beauty of Malta’s unique coastline. Don’t forget to bring your snorkeling gear to explore underwater wonders if the mood strikes!
Important Details
Kayak Owners: This event is free for you! Just bring your kayak and all the gear you need.
Kayak Renters: If you don’t own a kayak, that's ok, you can rent one from us. Advance booking is required, so please contact us as soon as possible to secure your spot.
Estimated Duration: The trip will take approximately 5 hours, including rest stops.
Cost: 60 Eur per paddler
What to Bring:
Kayak and paddles (for kayak owners, for renters, G.O.A.K. will provide)
Personal flotation device (PFD) (for kayak owners, for renters, G.O.A.K. will provide)
Food and drinks for the day
Sun protection (hat, sunscreen, sunglasses)
Waterproof bag for valuables
Snorkeling gear (optional but recommended)
Towel and change of clothes
Safety First
This kayaking adventure is suitable for individuals with basic to intermediate kayaking experience. Participants must be comfortable on the water and physically prepared for a 12 km paddle. We recommend being physically active and fit or having prior experience paddling over 10 km before joining this adventure. Our experienced guides will be available to assist and ensure your safety throughout the trip.

We are licensed, certified, and insured Paddle UK sea kayak guides who operate year-round, weather permitting. Pre-booking is always required, and we highly recommend booking well in advance to avoid disappointment.
